I will work with the my Whitby council colleagues and the new mayor of Whitby to secure the grant to get the new hospital process started. Council should never insult the level of government that writes the cheques. I will lobby for a cooperative effort by Whitby stakeholders to make this happen.
I have made a personal pledge to donate $2500 to the Lakeridge Foundation in support of the new Whitby Hospital.
